After dark its shores turn into a ribbon of lights: Ortakoy, with its graceful mosque right on the water's edge, is one of the most photographed corners of the city, and the Bosphorus Bridge, the first to join the two continents, glows with changing colours above the yacht. Bosphorus Evening Yacht Cruise In the evening you are picked up from your hotel and driven in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Kurucesme on the European shore of the Bosphorus, where your yacht, captain and crew are waiting. Once on board, the cruise sets off along the strait as the sun goes down, with tea, coffee and water served on the house. You sail past Ortakoy, whose elegant mosque sits right at the water's edge, and continue beneath the Bosphorus Bridge as it lights up against the night sky, with palaces, mansions and the hills of both continents sparkling along the shore. If you have chosen the dinner option at booking, a Turkish meal of cold and hot starters, a main course of fish, meat, chicken or vegetarian food, salad, fruit and warm helva is served on deck, and drinks can be ordered from the bar or covered by a pre-arranged package. The three hours pass at an unhurried pace, leaving plenty of time for photographs of the illuminated skyline and quiet moments on the water. At the end of the cruise the yacht returns to Kurucesme, from where you are transferred back to your hotel.
