My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
4 Days Aydin Tour: City Museums, Ephesus & Sirince Village (Private Tour)
Highlights of the 4-Day Aydin, Ephesus and Sirince Tour
This four-day package uses the provincial capital of Aydin, set in the fertile Menderes valley of the Aegean, as a calm base for two very different guided days. The first focuses on the city itself and its museums, while the second heads out to Ephesus and the hill village of Sirince. Arrival and departure transfers from Aydin Cildir Airport, three nights of hotel accommodation and an English-speaking guide on both touring days are part of the arrangement, so the programme suits travellers who want a short, well-organised Aegean break without changing hotels.
In Aydin you visit the Aydin Archeology Museum, whose collection spans carved stone, glass, terracotta figures, coins and mosaic floor panels recovered in the region. Nearby stands the Suleyman Bey Mosque, an Ottoman building of 1683 that was restored in 1956 and keeps its classical domed form and arcaded portico. After some free time in the centre, the day ends at the Tales Mathematics Museum, the first museum of its kind in Turkey, where hands-on stations explain mathematical ideas for every level, from primary school puzzles to advanced concepts. The museum is closed to individual visitors on Sundays and to groups at weekends, so this day is scheduled accordingly.
The Ephesus day is fully guided: you see the site of the Temple of Artemis, walk down Curetes Street past the Roman baths and stand before the facade of the Library of Celsus and the vast Grand Theatre. After lunch there is a visit to a carpet-weaving centre, where one of Anatolia's oldest crafts is still practised by hand, followed by Sirince, a village of whitewashed houses whose architecture reflects its Anatolian Greek past. Sirince is known for its fruit wines, and you will see its vineyards and learn how these wines are made. A stop at a regional leather production centre completes a day that combines ancient history, village life and local craftsmanship.

Day 1 Arrival - Aydin βΎ
Your representative meets you at Aydin Cildir Airport and accompanies you on the transfer to your hotel in Aydin. Once you have checked in and collected your room key, the rest of the day is completely free. You can take a first walk through the streets of this Aegean provincial capital or simply rest after your journey. There are no scheduled activities today, which leaves you plenty of time to settle in before the guided programme begins tomorrow morning. Overnight in Aydin.
Day 2 Aydin - Ephesus, Sirince π½ Breakfast βΎ
After breakfast your guide collects you for a tour of central Aydin. The first visit is the Aydin Archeology Museum, where display cases hold stone sculpture, glassware, terracotta pieces, coins and fragments of mosaic flooring found across the province. Next comes the Suleyman Bey Mosque, completed in 1683 and restored in 1956, a fine example of classical Ottoman architecture. You then have free time in the city centre before continuing to the Tales Mathematics Museum, the first mathematics museum in Turkey, with interactive stations for visitors of every age and level. At the end of the tour you return to your hotel in Aydin.
Day 3 Ephesus, Sirince - Aydin π½ Breakfast Β· Lunch βΎ
Following breakfast, you leave the hotel at about 08:30 for a fully guided day at Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities anywhere. On the way you stop at the site of the Temple of Artemis, then explore Curetes Street, the famous Roman baths, the Library of Celsus and the Grand Theatre. Lunch is served at around 13:00. In the afternoon you visit a carpet-weaving centre to watch this age-old craft, then continue to Sirince, whose original whitewashed houses climb the hillside. Here you see the vineyards and learn how the village produces its well-known fruit wines. On the return you call at one of the region's leather production centres before the transfer back to your hotel in Aydin.
Day 4 Departure - Aydin π½ Breakfast βΎ
Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel. Until the time of your departure transfer the day is yours, so you can pack at leisure, take a final stroll around the centre or pick up some souvenirs of the Aegean. At the agreed time you are collected from the hotel and driven to Aydin Cildir Airport for your flight home, bringing this short but varied journey through Aydin, Ephesus and Sirince to a close. Please remember that the Tales Mathematics Museum does not open to individual visitors on Sundays or to groups on Saturdays and Sundays.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized β from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
