Turkish Hamam Museum

The Turkish Hamam Museum is a historic bathhouse located in Beypazari, Turkey, built approximately 400 years ago. It was constructed by Grand Vizier Rustem Pasha, son-in-law of Suleyman the Magnificent. The museum showcases the cultural and historical significance of traditional Turkish bathing practices through displays of period artifacts and craft objects used in hamam traditions. Visitors can explore the well-preserved building and gain insight into daily bathing customs from centuries past.

The museum is one of only a handful of Turkish bath museums in the world. Entrance fees are modest, and visitors receive access to both this museum and the nearby Yasayan Muze (Living Museum) with a combined ticket. A small shop at the exit sells traditional hamam-related items including towels, soap, and bathrobes at reasonable prices, and staff guides are described as knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
