İstanbul Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial House

The apartment on the 4th floor of Mısır Apartment, where our National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy spent his last days and passed away between 16 June 1936 and 27 December 1936, was organized as Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial House and opened to visitors.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy's personal belongings and books are exhibited in the Souvenir House, which consists of the Mehmet Akif Library, Documentary Room, Poetry Room, and Exhibition Hall.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial House can be visited free of charge every day of the week.
