Hisart Canli Tarih Muzesi

Hisart Canlı Tarih Müzesi (Hisart Live History Museum) is a museum in Istanbul that showcases world history through handcrafted dioramas and original artifacts. The exhibits span from the Anatolian Seljuk State and the Ottoman Empire through the Turkish War of Independence and the First and Second World Wars, displaying historical battle scenes, authentic period costumes, weapons and accessories in intricate detail across multiple floors.

The collection includes Ottoman-era items such as pashas' garments, swords, guns and yatagans, alongside helmets, powder flasks and aircraft. The museum occupies nearly six stories filled with military history memorabilia and original artifacts, and typically requires two to three hours to explore. It is located in the Çağlayan district and generally operates Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Mondays.
