Edirne Turkish Islamic Arts Museum

The museum is situated in the South east of Selimiye Mosque. The Madrasa used as Turkish Islamic Arts Museum since 1925, includes a main classroom, student rooms and courtyard with portico. 15th century gravestonesand rarely encountered janissary gravestones are displayed in the courtyard included a yew, also known as monument tree. The tablets from Ottoman Period buildings, dinner wagons and cannonballs from Balkan War and Ottoman water culture scene are exhibited on the courtyard. There is also a recreation part for visitors. There are 17 exhibition rooms in the Turkish Islamic Arts Museum.
