Cam Ve Billur Müzesi
About Cam Ve Billur Müzesi
Located in the Beykoz district of Istanbul, the Cam ve Billur Muzesi (Glass and Crystal Museum) occupies a historic Ottoman estate and showcases an impressive collection of glassware spanning centuries. The exhibits feature not only Turkish and Ottoman glass objects but also exquisite pieces from various cultures worldwide. The museum building itself is a beautiful stone structure set within expansive, well-maintained gardens.
Beyond the galleries, the grounds offer significant recreational value. Visitors can explore extensive gardens where peacocks and rabbits roam freely, enjoy a large playground for children and relax at on-site cafes. The facility includes glass workshops for both children and adults, allowing hands-on engagement with the craft. An audio guide is available in multiple languages, with display information provided in Turkish and English. Photography is not permitted inside the exhibition building.
