Bayindir Daffodil Harvest Programme The day begins early with a 07:30 departure from Bostanli, followed by a second pickup at the Bornova metro station at 08:00. From Izmir the vehicle heads inland towards Bayindir, a district well known for its ornamental plant nurseries and flower growing. On the way there is a short breakfast break. Once you arrive in Bayindir, the walking part of the programme starts: an easy rural track of approximately 5 km leads from Bayindir to Turan village and takes about two hours, with your guide setting a comfortable pace and pointing out the farmland and village life along the route. In Turan village the group enjoys lunch at a small local business, and tea and coffee are served during the day. After the meal you drive a short distance to the daffodil garden, where you can walk among the flowers and harvest your own bunch to take home; extra daffodils can be bought from the garden owner if you wish. When the harvest is over, everyone boards the vehicle for the drive back, and the tour ends in Izmir in the evening.
