After a guided tour of imperial Istanbul you transfer up to the pine-clad mountain of Uludağ above Bursa for skiing, snowboarding, mountain-top views, markets and Turkish baths, before returning to Istanbul for your departure.
The holiday opens with two days in Istanbul: after settling in, a full guided city tour takes you to the ancient Hippodrome, the blue-tiled Blue Mosque and the great Byzantine church-turned-mosque of Hagia Sophia, with time in the bazaar for spices, sweets and souvenirs. You then transfer to the ski fields of Uludağ, the forested massif rising above the old Ottoman capital of Bursa and the most popular winter-sports destination in the country.
Three free days on the mountain let you ski or snowboard at your own pace on runs for beginners and experts alike, ride to the summit for sweeping views, browse the local markets or unwind in a traditional Turkish bath, with breakfast and dinner included at your mountain hotel. On the sixth day you return to Istanbul for a final night, before a departure transfer brings your Turkish winter escape to a close.
