Two Stone Homes Metis is a traditional stone house in the Tepe quarter, the historic old town of Marmaris that climbs the hill around Marmaris Castle. Reached along narrow cobbled lanes and stone steps lined with flowers and whitewashed houses, the house stands only about 100 metres from the castle walls. The harbour promenade is a short walk downhill and Netsel Marmaris Marina around 500 metres away, so restaurants, cafés, the bazaar and the boat excursions of central Marmaris are all within easy walking distance.

Rather than a conventional hotel, this is a self-catering holiday home with the character of an old Marmaris town house, set over two floors with thick stone walls, wooden doors and shutters. Inside, a living room with a stone fireplace, a dining area by windows looking out to the sea and a fitted kitchen with fridge, iron and cooking utensils make it easy to settle in. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a washing machine, a hairdryer and a TV are provided, pets can be accommodated for an extra fee and airport transportation can be arranged.

The house sleeps up to four guests, with one bedroom and a sofa bed, so it suits couples, small families and friends who want space, privacy and an authentic old-town setting, with the freedom to cook for themselves or to eat out in the many restaurants of the harbour.

Dalaman Airport is the nearest airport (around 49 km in a straight line, longer by road), with Milas-Bodrum Airport as the alternative gateway; a private airport transfer is the easiest way to reach the old town with luggage.
