My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
Our daily Pamukkale tour from Belek takes you inland from the Antalya coast to one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Turkey, where snow-white mineral terraces spill down a hillside above the Denizli plain. This guided day tour combines a natural wonder and a Roman-era city, both protected together as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with hotel transfers and lunch included.
Pamukkale, Turkish for Cotton Castle, was created by warm springs rising from a cliff nearly 200 metres high. The water, around 35 degrees and rich in calcium bicarbonate, releases its carbon dioxide as it flows and leaves limestone behind, slowly building petrified cascades, mineral forests and terraced basins. Above them lies Hierapolis, a spa town founded by the Attalid kings of Pergamon. Walking through it, you see the Roman baths, the Temple of Apollo, the gymnasium now used as a museum, the Great Theatre and the tomb associated with St. Philip, as well as a vast necropolis where some tombs are as large as small houses.
This daily excursion is relaxed in pace and suits all ages. Entrance fees for the sites in the programme are included; a swim in Cleopatra Pool requires an extra ticket, and your guide can help you arrange it. Later in the day there is time to browse Turkish handicrafts such as leather, textiles, onyx, jewellery or Turkish delight before the drive back. Bring sunscreen and comfortable shoes; visitors walk barefoot on the travertines.

Pamukkale & Hierapolis Programme Your day begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Belek, followed by a comfortable drive in an air-conditioned, non-smoking coach through the Taurus foothills towards Denizli. On arrival your English-speaking guide leads you into Hierapolis, the ancient spa city established by the kings of Pergamon. You explore the open-air museum step by step: the enormous necropolis with its hundreds of sarcophagi, the Roman baths, the gymnasium that now serves as a museum, the Temple of Apollo, the Great Theatre and the tomb of St. Philip. Lunch is included during the day. Next come the dazzling white travertines of Pamukkale, where warm mineral water has shaped terraces and pools over thousands of years; you can walk among them and take photographs of the valley below. If you wish, you may also swim in the antique Cleopatra Pool, which has a separate entrance fee. Before heading back there is a stop to see Turkish handicrafts such as leather goods, textiles, onyx, jewellery and Turkish delight. In the evening the coach returns to Belek and drops you at your hotel.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
