Trade the bustle of the city for the gentle rhythm of the Marmara coast on this daily Mudanya, Trilye and Golyazi village tour from Bursa, a full-day excursion through three of the most atmospheric old settlements in the Bursa region. Beginning with a morning pick-up from your hotel, this Bursa day trip winds down to the sea at Mudanya, lingers in the cobblestone lanes and Byzantine churches of Trilye, and ends beneath a 450-year-old plane tree on the shore of Lake Uluabat at Golyazi. It is a relaxed, scenic daily excursion from Bursa of vintage Ottoman houses, Greek Orthodox heritage, olive groves and a seaside fish lunch.
Mudanya sits where the hills of the southern Marmara meet the sea, and its lanes of bay-windowed timber houses recall a time when Greek and Ottoman communities lived side by side. From the waterfront you climb through narrow, cobblestone streets toward Trilye, known in Turkish as Zeytinbagi, the "olive vineyard". Once home to a large Greek Orthodox population, the village still shelters a remarkable cluster of churches — the vaulted Kemerli Church of Panagia Pantobasilissa, the house-church known as the Dundar House, and the imposing neoclassical Stone School that crowns the hillside. Along the way you visit the Tahir Pasha Mansion, now the town museum, and the ancient Kumyaka (Basmelekler) Church on the coast.
After a leisurely lunch at a fish restaurant on the beach and a browse through Trilye's celebrated olives and olive-oil goods, the tour continues to Golyazi, a tiny fishing settlement set on a peninsula that reaches into Lake Uluabat. Here you wander lanes lined with colourful houses and old boats before pausing for tea beneath a plane tree said to be more than 450 years old, watching the still lake water mirror the sky. This Bursa daily excursion is an easy, authentic escape into the Ottoman and Byzantine past of the Marmara shore before you are returned to your hotel in Bursa in the late afternoon.

Mudanya, Trilye & Golyazi Day Tour Programme You are collected from your hotel in Bursa in the morning and drive down to the Marmara Sea at Mudanya, a small, vintage town founded in antiquity and shaped over the centuries by its Greek and Ottoman inhabitants. Walking its well-preserved streets you visit the Tahir Pasha Mansion, one of the few buildings to survive from the Ottoman Tulip period and now the Mudanya city museum, and the Byzantine Kumyaka Church, also known as the Basmelekler Church, built in 780 and still opened for Greek Orthodox worship a few times a year. From Mudanya you continue along the coast and climb the cobblestone lanes to Trilye, the village known today as Zeytinbagi. Once a thriving Greek Orthodox community, Trilye preserves seven historical churches; here you visit the vaulted Kemerli Church (Panagia Pantobasilissa) and the Dundar House (the Yuannes Church), and see the great neoclassical Stone School, the Tas Mektep, the largest building in the town. You stop for a relaxing lunch at a fish restaurant on the beach, with time to shop for Trilye's renowned olives and locally produced olive goods. In the afternoon the tour drives on to Golyazi, a fishing village set on a peninsula in Lake Uluabat. After strolling through the village you pause for a tea break beneath a 450-year-old plane tree on the lakeshore, taking in the peaceful scenery, before returning by coach to your hotel in Bursa.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
