Swap the travertines for the marble streets of antiquity on this full-day Ephesus and Şirince tour from Pamukkale, a private day trip to one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world followed by wine tasting in a charming Aegean village. With a professional guide and comfortable transport, you explore the Library of Celsus, the Grand Theatre and the Temple of Artemis before sampling local fruit wines and sand-brewed Turkish coffee in Şirince.
After a morning pick-up in Pamukkale you enjoy a scenic drive to Selçuk and the ancient city of Ephesus, founded as an Ionian city and later the capital of Roman Asia Minor. Walking its marble streets you see the Agora, the Odeon, Domitian's Temple, Trajan's Fountain and the Roman Baths, the superb façade of the Celsus Library and the vast Grand Theatre, which once held twenty-five thousand spectators. Ephesus was visited by Saint Paul and Saint John and is counted among the Seven Churches of Revelation. Nearby stands the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
After free time for lunch you visit a carpet-weaving centre to see traditional Turkish craftsmanship and, optionally, a leather shop, before the day's final stop at the hillside village of Şirince. Famous for its fruit wines, you can taste the local vintages, sip Turkish coffee brewed on hot sand and browse handicrafts and artisan products among the village's white houses, before transferring back to your hotel in Pamukkale.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
