MILAS IASSOS BALIK PAZARI MUSEUM
About MILAS IASSOS BALIK PAZARI MUSEUM
The Milas Iassos Fish Bazaar Museum is located in Kıyıkışlacık, a quiet harbour village in Turkey's Muğla Province. The museum occupies a restored market building dating from the 1500s that originally served as a fish bazaar, and today it houses numerous exhibits and artefacts from the nearby ancient city of Iasos, including statues, mosaics, tombs and Christian-era objects displayed throughout a courtyard setting.
Admission is free, and the museum is open daily from 08:30 to 17:30. An adjacent parking area is available, and the surrounding quayside offers several restaurants and small hotels within walking distance, making it a convenient stop for those exploring the region's archaeological heritage and coastline.
