Hava Kuvvetleri Muzesi

The Turkish Air Force Museum in Ankara is both an indoor and outdoor aviation facility showcasing military aircraft that have served in the Turkish Air Forces inventory since 1911. The modern building features exhibition spaces across several floors with interpretation boards in Turkish and English chronicling Turkey's military aviation history. Highlights include exhibits celebrating the Turkish Stars aerobatic display team and Solo Turk F-16 demonstrations.

The outdoor grounds display an impressive collection of retired aircraft, ranging from vintage fighters to bombers and transport planes. Visitors can explore various models including MiG fighters, F-100 Super Sabres, and other military hardware, with bilingual information provided for each aircraft. Several cockpits are accessible for photography.

The museum is located west of downtown Ankara near the Etimesgut military airport and is open Thursday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Monday closures. The facility includes a gift shop with aviation-related merchandise.
