The picnic boat trip spends a day cruising to beaches around Kusadasi with swimming stops and a cooked lunch on board, and Adaland Aqua Park, one of the best-known water parks in the area, offers more than 20 rides and attractions, wave pools, slides and a lazy river spread over some 18 acres. You are met at Izmir Airport, Kusadasi harbour or Kusadasi bus station and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and receiving your room keys, the rest of the day is free to settle in, let the children explore and take a first walk by the sea. After breakfast you leave the hotel for a fully guided tour of Ephesus. You pass the site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and then walk through the ancient city along Curetes Street, past the Roman baths, to the Library of Celsus and the Grand Theatre, where your guide brings the daily life of the Roman city to life for young and old. After a lunch break at around 13:00 you visit a carpet weaving centre to see one of Turkey's oldest crafts, before returning to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
No early start today. Spend the day on the beach and in the clear sea, wander through the town and the local markets or relax at the hotel. For those who want more action, a wide range of activities can be booked locally at extra cost, including scuba diving, fishing, quad and horse safaris, tandem skydiving, microlight flights, kite surfing, a Turkish bath or a Turkish night, as well as day trips to Pergamon, Bafa Lake, Bodrum or Didyma, Miletus and Priene. Enjoy a day at leisure or join the optional picnic boat trip (extra cost). If you take the cruise, you are collected from the hotel after breakfast and spend the day on the water, with the boat stopping at beaches around Kusadasi for swimming and sunbathing and a cooked picnic lunch served on board. The guided Pamukkale tour included in your package takes place on one of the free days of the week, confirmed by our local team. On this full-day excursion you travel inland to Pamukkale, walk on the white calcium terraces with their warm, shallow pools and explore the ruins of Hierapolis, the ancient spa city above them, before returning to the coast. Today you can relax at leisure or spend the day at Adaland Aqua Park (optional, extra cost), one of the most popular attractions in Kusadasi. Covering around 18 acres, the park has more than 20 rides and attractions, from a wave pool and a lazy river to some of the fastest water slides in the region, as well as grassy areas to rest in the sun. Your last full day is free for one more swim, a final visit to the bazaar for souvenirs or a leisurely coffee at the harbour. If you still have energy, there are many local excursions and activities available at extra cost, from boat and safari trips to a relaxing hamam visit.
