This unhurried five‑day holiday is ideal if you want time to settle into Cappadocia rather than rushing through it. You are met at Kayseri or Nevşehir airport, or at Göreme bus station, and taken to your hotel, where you receive your room key and have the rest of the day free to explore the area on your own. Dinner is included on the first evening, and the package covers four nights of hotel accommodation with 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 4 dinners.
The first guided day introduces the classic sights of northern Cappadocia. In Göreme Valley your guide explains how the volcanic rock formations developed, and in Uçhisar you see cave dwellings surrounded by conical rocks. After a tea and coffee break you visit the Göreme Open‑Air Museum, known for its frescoed rock‑cut churches and monasteries. A buffet lunch is followed by the fairy chimneys of Ürgüp, the cave‑riddled Wishing Hill, a short walk in Devrent Valley with its rock figures and the unusual dwellings of Monks Valley (Paşabağ). The day continues past Avanos, the pottery town, to the Rose Valley cave town, where a short walk ends with the sunset.
On the second guided day you leave at 09:00 for Ihlara Valley and hike around 4 km past churches decorated with frescoes, before lunch on the bank of the Melendiz River. In the afternoon you see Selime Cathedral and Derinkuyu, the biggest underground city in Cappadocia, where the temperature stays at about 12–13 °C, passing Nar Crater Lake on the route. The day finishes at Pigeon Valley, whose pigeon houses were built to collect guano.
Day four is set aside for a walk in Rose Valley, named after its rose‑coloured rock whose hue shifts with the seasons and the weather, with lunch and dinner included. On the fifth day, after breakfast, you are transferred to Kayseri or Nevşehir airport or Göreme bus station. Guided touring with an English‑speaking professional guide, all transfers in an air‑conditioned, non‑smoking vehicle, all entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary and hotel room taxes are included.
