You continue to Uçhisar and its cave dwellings surrounded by conical rocks, enjoy a tea and coffee break, and then visit the Göreme Open‑Air Museum, home to some of the best‑preserved frescoed rock‑cut churches and monasteries in Cappadocia.
After a buffet lunch you see the fairy chimneys of Ürgüp and Wishing Hill, a cave‑riddled viewpoint, then take a short walk in Devrent Valley, where the rocks resemble countless figures. Monks Valley (Paşabağ) shows the unusual rock dwellings found only in this area, and after Avanos, the pottery town of Cappadocia, you take a short walk in the Rose Valley cave town and watch the sunset. Dinner and an overnight stay in Cappadocia follow.
Day two starts at 09:00 with a hike of about 4 km through Ihlara Valley, visiting churches decorated with frescoes, and lunch beside the Melendiz River. In the afternoon you visit Selime Cathedral and Derinkuyu, the biggest underground city of the region, where the temperature stays around 12–13 °C, passing Nar Crater Lake on the way. The day ends at Pigeon Valley, whose pigeon houses were built to collect guano, followed by dinner in Cappadocia.
On the last morning, after breakfast, you take a walk through Rose Valley, named after its rose‑coloured rock whose hue changes with the seasons and the weather, before the transfer to Kayseri or Nevşehir airport or Göreme bus station.
