This four-day off-road journey leaves the beaches of Antalya behind and climbs into the lakes, forests and highlands of the interior. Travelling by four-wheel-drive vehicle with an English-speaking guide, you follow mountain roads to Eğirdir, cool off at Uçansu waterfall, explore Kovada National Park and the heights of Tota mountain at about 2,000 metres, share a village lunch in Kasımlar and spend a memorable night in a bungalow treehouse at Beşkonak. The finale is a rafting trip on the river near Beşkonak combined with a visit to the ancient mountain city of Selge.
The route is designed for travellers who enjoy nature and a bit of adventure without giving up comfortable nights. After an arrival evening in Antalya with dinner, the second day heads inland: lunch and a swim at the Uçansu waterfall, then onward to Eğirdir, the lakeside town where you sleep. Day three is the wildest stretch of the safari, with the forests and lake of Kovada National Park, the panoramic plateau of Tota mountain, lunch in the village of Kasımlar, another swimming stop and an evening arrival at Beşkonak, gateway to the Köprülü Canyon National Park.
On the last morning you paddle the rapids on a guided rafting trip and walk among the ruins of Selge, an ancient city set high in the mountains, before your transfer back to Antalya Airport. Our team greets you at Antalya Airport and drives you to your hotel in the city. After check-in you have time to rest and settle in before dinner, which is included this evening. Overnight in Antalya.
After breakfast the safari begins and your four-wheel-drive vehicle heads inland towards Eğirdir. On the way you stop at Uçansu waterfall, where lunch is served and there is time for a refreshing swim in the natural pools. In the afternoon the drive continues through the hills to Eğirdir, the lakeside town on the shore of Lake Eğirdir. Check in at your hotel and spend the night in Eğirdir.
Today's off-road route starts with Kovada National Park, a protected area of lake and forest, followed by a climb to Tota mountain at around 2,000 metres for wide views over the surrounding mountains. Lunch is served in Kasımlar village, after which you stop again for a swim before driving on to Beşkonak. Tonight is spent in a bungalow treehouse surrounded by nature, a highlight of the trip.
After breakfast you join a guided rafting trip on the river near Beşkonak. You also visit Selge, the ancient city perched in the mountains above Köprülü Canyon. Lunch is included, and in the afternoon you are transferred to Antalya Airport for your flight home.
