Turkey holds one of the strongest Bezoar ibex populations in the world, which makes it a key destination for mountain game hunters. This compact four-day package brings you from Antalya Airport to Anamur, a coastal town on the eastern edge of the Mediterranean region, where the steep limestone slopes of the Taurus Mountains rise almost directly from the sea. From your hotel in Anamur you head into the mountains on two full days dedicated to ibex, hunting either on a drive or by stalking, accompanied by a game ranger and guide who know the terrain.

Timing matters with this species. Depending on the area, the rut takes place in November and December, and these two months together with January and February are regarded as the best period for a hunt. The legal minimum horn length is 100 cm, or about 39.5 inches, while the typical size ranges from 40 to 44 inches depending on the location. Horns over 45 inches are generally counted as a real trophy, and 50 inches is the figure every serious ibex hunter dreams about.

The programme is simple and efficient: arrival and transfer on the first day, two hunting days with breakfast at the hotel and a packed lunch in the mountains, and a transfer back to Antalya Airport on the last morning.
