Highlights of the 4-Day Çıralı to Beşkonak SUV Safari

This adventurous four-day safari links the coast of Kemer with the remote mountain villages of Antalya province in a single loop. Riding in a four-wheel-drive vehicle with an English-speaking guide, you start in Çıralı and walk up to Yanartaş, where the legendary Chimaera flames burn from the rocks. From there the route turns into the hills via Kumluca and Finike, follows mountain roads to the Alakır river for lunch and a swim, and passes the villages of Ovacık and Kesmeboğaz on the way to a mountain hotel at Altınkaya.

The third day continues through Söğütcuma and Karaağaç to Saklıkent, where you stop for lunch before descending to Beşkonak. Your night there is spent in a bungalow treehouse at the edge of the Köprülü Canyon National Park, a fitting base after a day of dirt tracks and mountain views. The last morning brings the most energetic moment of the trip: a guided rafting trip on the river, followed by a visit to Selge, an ancient city set high above the canyon, before your transfer back to Antalya Airport.
