My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
8 Days Black Sea Discovery – Trabzon, Rize, Ayder, Uzungöl & Sumela Private Tour
Highlights of the Black Sea Discovery
The journey begins in the historic port of Trabzon, where you will wander the streets that house the 13th-century Hagia Sophia, the elegant Atatürk Mansion and the panoramic Boztepe Hill. Each site reveals layers of Byzantine, Ottoman and modern Turkish history, while the city’s waterfront cafés invite you to taste local sweets and tea.
Heading east, the tour takes you to Rize’s terraced tea gardens, where you’ll sip freshly brewed tea amid sweeping mountain views. The adventure continues on the Ayder Plateau, a verdant highland famed for its mineral springs, and the Fırtına River, where you can join an optional white-water rafting session. A day at Uzungöl Lake offers serene walks along the shore, a visit to a traditional tea factory, and a glimpse of the region’s famous wooden bridge.
The cultural heart of the itinerary lies at the cliff-side Sumela Monastery, a 4th-century Byzantine sanctuary perched in Altındere National Park. After admiring its frescoed chambers, you’ll cross the historic Zigana Pass, sample the creamy sütlaç of Hamsiköy, and explore the pristine Hıdırnebi Plateau and the spectacular underground world of Çal Cave. Throughout, knowledgeable guides share stories of the Black Sea’s unique heritage, making every moment unforgettable.
All seven nights are spent at the same 4-star hotel in Trabzon, so there is no packing and unpacking, and every excursion includes hotel pick-up, private transport and an English-speaking licensed guide. Breakfast is included daily, while lunches and dinners are left free so you can try the local fish, pide and corn bread in village restaurants. A free day at the end gives time to relax before your flight.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
