Upon your arrival at the Istanbul airport, you will be met by our representative for a private transfer to your hotel. After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city at your own pace. You may choose to relax or explore the local surroundings. Overnight in Istanbul.
Following breakfast, your guided exploration begins at 08:30 a.m. We visit the grand Topkapi Palace to view its imperial collections, the treasury jewels and the Holy Mantle. Afterward, we proceed to Sultanahmet Square to admire the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue Iznik tiles, and the historic Hagia Sophia. We also explore the ancient Hippodrome, featuring the Obelisk of Theodosius and the Serpentine Column. After a lunch break (lunch not included), we visit a leather factory for a leather fashion show before heading to the bazaar to browse authentic goods, spices and herbs. The tour ends with a transfer; your private return transfer to the airport is included. Please bring a headscarf for the mosque visits; on Tuesdays, when Topkapi Palace is closed, the Basilica Cistern can be visited instead.
