Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing Bosphorus dinner cruise. This excursion offers a unique perspective of Istanbul’s skyline, passing landmarks such as the Dolmabahce Palace, Ortakoy Mosque, Maiden’s Tower, and the Rumeli Fortress. The evening includes a delicious meal, traditional live entertainment, and music, providing a memorable introduction to the city before returning to your hotel for the night.
Today is dedicated to the historic heart of Istanbul. Visit the ancient Hippodrome, once the center of chariot racing, to see the Obelisk of Theodosius and the Serpentine Column. Continue to the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, better known as the Blue Mosque for the blue Iznik tiles of its interior. View the exterior of the 6th-century Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, and the exterior of the sprawling Topkapi Palace, former residence of Ottoman sultans. You will also pass the Basilica Cistern, the largest covered water reservoir of the old city, seen from outside. The day concludes with dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Depart for a boat tour along the Bosphorus, the waterway separating Europe and Asia. Admire the shoreline dotted with marble palaces, fortresses, and fishing villages, including the Yildiz and Ciragan Palaces.
