My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
8 Days Cappadocia Yoga & Horse Camping Adventure Group Tour
Highlights of the 8‑Day Cappadocia Yoga & Horse Camping Adventure
This journey blends gentle yoga sessions with authentic horseback excursions across Cappadocia’s most enchanting valleys. Riders glide through the dramatic Dereyamanli and Balkan Deresi gorges, pause for meditation beside ancient rock‑cut churches, and unwind with a sunset stretch under a sky dotted with fairy chimneys.
Each night is spent under the stars – from the rustic camp at Kavak to the riverside bivouac on the Kızılırmak, the longest river in Turkey. Highlights include a refreshing dip with horses in Lake Damsabaraji, sweeping vistas of the dormant Erciyes volcano from the Kucuk Hodul plateau, and a hands‑on pottery experience in Avanos, a craft tradition dating back to the Hittites.
The itinerary also visits the 11th‑century monastery at Taskinpasa, a 14th‑century Seljuk mosque, and Roman tombs perched on a cliffside, offering a deep dive into the region’s layered history while keeping the pace relaxed and mindful.
What to expect
The programme is relaxed in pace but outdoors for most of the day. Yoga and meditation take place on seven of the eight days, usually before breakfast, before lunch or at camp in the evening, so you can combine riding and stretching without hurrying. Camping takes place in Kavak, Cemil, Karain and on the banks of the Kizilirmak; one night is spent in a local village house and the first night in a hotel in Avanos. Meals are included from day two onwards, with breakfast on the last morning before the airport or Goreme bus station transfer.
It suits travellers who enjoy nature and quiet landscapes and who are comfortable on a horse; bring sturdy shoes, a sun hat and a warm layer for the evenings. Fully guided in English, the tour is a good alternative for anyone who wants to see Cappadocia from the saddle instead of from the road.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
