Upon landing in the heart of Cappadocia, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Experience a truly unique day accompanied by your own personal photographer. Your day begins early with a transfer to a prime location to witness the preparation and ascent of hot air balloons at sunrise. From an altitude of up to 1000 meters, you will marvel at the fairy chimneys below. Following the flight, enjoy a champagne celebration and receive your flight certificate. Your photographer will remain with you throughout the day, documenting your journey through the valleys and landscapes of your choice until sunset.
Today is dedicated to the classic sights of Cappadocia. We begin at Devrent Valley, known for its strange, lunar rock formations. We continue to Pasabagi, where the most striking mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys stand. Afterward, we visit Avanos, a town famous for its traditional pottery craft dating back to the Hittite era. After a lunch stop at a local restaurant in Avanos, we explore the Goreme Open Air Museum, featuring historic churches and monasteries carved directly into the rock faces. You will have ample time for photography before returning to your hotel.
Our final full day focuses on the Red Valley and the subterranean history of the region. We begin by viewing the famous family-shaped fairy chimneys before hiking through the Red Valley to discover hidden rock-cut churches. After a lunch break near the historic Ortahisar Castle, we descend into the Kaymakli Underground City, one of the most expansive subterranean settlements in the region. We conclude the tour at the panoramic Pigeon Valley, famous for its ancient pigeon houses carved into the cliffs. Return to your hotel for the evening.
On the final day you will be picked up from your hotel for your transfer to the airport in Kayseri or Nevsehir. From there, you will take your return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, a final transfer will be provided to your hotel, marking the conclusion of your Cappadocia tour.
