This package is designed for hunters who want to pursue the bezoar ibex, the wild goat of Anatolia's high mountains, in the rugged ranges near Kayseri in central Turkey. The programme is simple and focused: you fly into Kayseri, are welcomed by our meet and greet team at the airport, and spend three full days in the field in the Anti-Taurus Mountains before flying home on the fifth day. The bezoar ibex lives on steep rocky slopes and cliffs, and mature males carry long, curved, knotted horns that make them one of the most sought-after mountain trophies of the region. Hunting is carried out with a mix of driven hunts and stalking, depending on the terrain and the movements of the animals on each day.
Each hunting day starts with breakfast at the hotel, after which a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle takes you from Kayseri to the hunting grounds. In the mountains you are accompanied by a game ranger and a guide who know the area and handle the practical side of the hunt, while the required game permissions are arranged in advance as part of the package. Packed lunches are provided for the three hunting days so that no time is lost returning to town at midday, and camping equipment is supplied for the time spent in the field. At the end of each day you return to Kayseri for the night, giving you a hot shower, a proper bed and a chance to rest before the next early start.
The price covers four nights of accommodation in a Kayseri hotel and camp, four breakfasts and three packed lunches, airport transfers on arrival and departure, all transport during the programme, three days of hunting with game ranger and guide, camping equipment, game permissions and professional meet and greet service. Trophy-related costs are charged separately and are not part of the package price: shooting fees, wounded and missed-shot fees, skinning and trophy preparation, as well as flights, city tax, Turkey entry visa, insurance, personal expenses and tips. This makes the package a clear base on which each hunter can plan the hunt, with the final cost depending on the outcome in the field.

Welcome to Turkey. On arrival at Kayseri Airport our team meets you in the terminal and takes you by private vehicle to your hotel in the city. After check-in the rest of the day is free, giving you time to rest after the flight, check your equipment and get ready for the coming days in the mountains. If you wish, your guide can go over the plan for the hunt and answer any practical questions about the hunting area, permits and daily routine. Overnight in Kayseri.
The day begins with an early breakfast at the hotel. You are then driven out of Kayseri to the hunting grounds in the Anti-Taurus Mountains, where your game ranger and guide take charge of the hunt. Depending on conditions and on where the bezoar ibex are moving, the day may be spent glassing and stalking along the ridges or taking part in a driven hunt. A packed lunch is carried with you so that you can stay in the field for as long as the hunt requires. In the evening you return to Kayseri. Overnight in Kayseri.
After breakfast at the hotel you set off again for the mountains, building on what was learned the previous day about the movements of the herds. Your ranger and guide decide on the best approach for the day, whether a stalk across the steep, rocky terrain where the ibex feel safest or a drive through the valleys. Camping equipment is available for breaks and longer periods in the field, and a packed lunch is provided. At the end of the hunting day you are driven back to the city. Overnight in Kayseri.
The final day in the field starts, as before, with breakfast at the hotel and the transfer to the Anti-Taurus Mountains. This last hunting day gives another opportunity to find a good trophy animal, with the support of your game ranger and guide throughout. A packed lunch keeps you going in the mountains until the hunt is over. Any shooting, wounded or trophy preparation fees arising from the hunt are settled separately.
