My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
5 Days Bartın & Amasra City and Cooking Tour on the Black Sea Private Tour
A Slow Week in Amasra, the Pearl of the Western Black Sea
This private tour is based for four nights in Amasra, the small harbour town of Bartın province set on two bays and a rocky peninsula on Turkey's western Black Sea coast. It combines a guided sightseeing day, a cooking class, a traditional hamam and plenty of free time, with transfers from and to Zonguldak Airport.
Amasra has been a port since antiquity, known as Sesamos and later Amastris, and passed through Roman, Byzantine and Genoese hands before the Ottoman conquest in 1460. The guided day shows its layers: the castle walls and the Fatih Mosque, a former 9th-century Byzantine church, the Amasra Museum with finds from Hellenistic to Genoese times, and the Çekiciler Bazaar of boxwood craftsmen.
The day finishes at Gürcüoluk Cave, one of the natural sights of the Bartın area. On the cooking day you learn local recipes such as pum pum soup, Amasra börek and mantı with a cook at a town restaurant, and another morning is spent in the hamam, with the afternoon free for the waterfront, the fish restaurants and the famous Amasra salad.
On your free days you can visit Bartın town itself, known for its wooden Ottoman houses along the Bartın River, swim at İnkumu beach in summer, or head inland to the forests and canyons of the Küre Mountains National Park.
Breakfasts, one lunch, guiding, entrance fees and transfers are included. The tour suits travellers who want a relaxed coastal stay with a taste of Black Sea history and food.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
