In Istanbul, the only city spread across two continents, you have time for Byzantine and Ottoman landmarks such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapı Palace, as well as the covered lanes of the Grand Bazaar and an optional cruise on the Bosphorus. Inland, the snow-white terraces of Pamukkale cascade down the hillside next to the ancient spa city of Hierapolis, where a theatre, a necropolis and the Antique Pool with its fallen marble columns await.
At Ephesus you follow the marble Curetes Street down to the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre, then visit the House of the Virgin Mary on Mount Koressos and the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Antalya adds sun and sea to the trip: alongside free time in the city and on its beaches, a guided day covers Perge, the remarkably preserved theatre of Aspendos, the harbour town of Side and one of the region's waterfalls.
What to pack: bring comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen, swimwear and a small towel for the Pamukkale terraces, clothing that covers shoulders and knees for mosque visits and your passport or ID card for the domestic flights. Your guide speaks fluent English, and the tour schedule may change slightly with the season and flight times while all listed visits are kept.
Tours run in small groups of up to 15 people, or as private tours with your own guide and vehicle; standard or top-end hotels can be chosen, and international flights are not included so you can travel from anywhere.
Good to know: prices are per person in a double room; single and triple rates are available on request. Children aged 4–7 receive a 40% discount and children aged 0–3 a 70% discount when sharing a room with two adults.

Welcome to Turkey. Our representative meets you at Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and transfers you to your hotel, about an hour away. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Istanbul.
Enjoy a free morning, then you are driven to the airport for the domestic flight to Izmir. On landing, our driver is waiting to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Izmir.
Drive about three hours inland to Pamukkale, where mineral-rich water has built up dazzling white travertine terraces, and explore the ruins of Hierapolis above them. After your guide's explanation there is free time to wade in the terraces; a swim in the Antique (Cleopatra) Pool among fallen marble columns is available for an extra fee. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Kuşadası.
After breakfast, join a full-day guided tour of UNESCO-listed Ephesus: the ancient city with its Library of Celsus and Great Theatre, the House of the Virgin Mary on the slopes of Mount Koressos, the site of the Temple of Artemis and the İsa Bey Mosque, with a view of Ayasuluk Castle. Lunch is served at a local restaurant, and there is a chance to see traditional crafts along the way. Overnight in Kuşadası.
A day at leisure in Antalya to explore on your own or relax at your hotel; optional excursions can be arranged. Overnight in Antalya.
Spend a full day east of Antalya: Perge, a large ancient city with colonnaded streets, baths and a stadium; Aspendos, whose Roman theatre is among the best preserved anywhere; the harbour town of Side with its Temple of Apollo by the sea; and a stop at one of Antalya's waterfalls on the way back. At the end of the day you are taken to the airport for the flight back to Istanbul, then transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
