My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
6 Days Kusadasi Tour: City Sights, Kirazli Cooking Class, Hamam and Ephesus (Group Tour)
Highlights of the 6-Day Kusadasi, Kirazli and Ephesus Tour
This six-day holiday uses Kusadasi as a single base for five nights and gathers the town's own sights, a village cooking class, a Turkish bath and a full guided day at Ephesus into one relaxed itinerary. Round-trip transfers from Izmir Airport, five breakfasts, two lunches, an English-speaking guide and the entrance fees for the sites in the programme are part of the package, so you only need to bring your curiosity and an appetite.
The first touring day introduces Kusadasi itself: the panoramic terrace of Gazibegendi, named after Ataturk admired its view; Pigeon Island with the Byzantine castle that once defended the harbour from pirates; and the Ottoman Caravanserai, a fortified inn now used for Turkish night shows. A carpet-weaving workshop and recommended shops for jewellery, leather, bags, souvenirs and sweets round off the walk through town. The next day you travel to Kirazli, a village near Ephesus, for a cooking lesson with a local, lunch and time beside the pool in a garden setting, followed by shopping in the centre. A visit to the hamam, timed to suit you, gives day four its gentle rhythm.
Day five is devoted to Ephesus, founded in the 10th century BC and once one of the great cities of the ancient world. You walk its marble streets past the Baths of Scholastica, the Temple of Hadrian, the Library of Celsus and the great Theatre, where excavations are still uncovering new finds. The Apostle Paul preached here and lived in the city for about three years, and the programme also includes the Basilica of St. John, the site of the Temple of Artemis, listed among the Seven Wonders of antiquity, and the House of the Virgin Mary.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your full program, day by day β click a day to see every stop.
Day 1 Arrival - Kusadasi βΎ
Your holiday begins at Izmir Airport, where our representative is waiting to greet you and accompany you on the transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi. Check-in formalities are quick, and once you have your room key the rest of the day is unplanned. Unpack, enjoy the sea air on the promenade or explore the streets near your hotel. It is a calm first day that leaves you rested for the guided programme ahead.
Day 2 Kusadasi - Kirazli, Kusadasi βΎ
The guided city tour starts with a drive up to Gazibegendi, a viewpoint above Kusadasi whose name is linked to Ataturk's delight at the scenery during a visit. Back at sea level you walk out to Pigeon Island, the symbol of the town, to see its Byzantine castle, once a lookout against pirates, and the views across the harbour. You continue to the Caravanserai, a fortified Ottoman inn that now hosts Turkish night shows. The afternoon walk through the centre includes a carpet-weaving workshop, and your guide recommends shops for jewellery, leather, bags, souvenirs and Turkish sweets before you head back to the hotel.
Day 3 Kirazli, Kusadasi - Kusadasi βΎ
After breakfast you travel to the village of Kirazli near Ephesus for a professional Turkish cooking lesson with a local. Preparing traditional dishes in a village setting offers a genuine glimpse of rural Aegean life and culture. Lunch is the food you have made, and afterwards there is time to unwind by the pool in the garden. Later in the afternoon you are driven to the centre of Kusadasi for free time and shopping, then back to your hotel.
Day 4 Kusadasi - Ephesus βΎ
This morning you are picked up from your hotel and taken to a hamam to enjoy a traditional Turkish bath, a ritual practised in towns across the country for generations. The exact time depends on your wishes and the bath's opening hours. Afterwards you have free time and shopping in the town centre, and the rest of the day is yours to spend as you like, whether on the seafront promenade or in a cafe overlooking the bay.
Day 5 Ephesus - Kusadasi, Izmir Airport βΎ
A full day at Ephesus, a city founded in the 10th century BC where archaeologists are still at work. Your guide leads you along marble-paved streets lined with public buildings: the Baths of Scholastica, the Temple of Hadrian, the facade of the Library of Celsus and the vast Theatre. Your guide explains that the Apostle Paul lived in Ephesus for about three years and addressed its community in his sermons. The tour also takes in the site of the Temple of Artemis, counted among the Seven Wonders, the Basilica of St. John and the House of the Virgin Mary. Afterwards you are transferred back to your hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 6 Kusadasi, Izmir Airport - Farewell and Airport Transfer βΎ
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your free time until the departure transfer. When it is time to leave, your driver collects you from the hotel and takes you back to Izmir Airport for your flight home, ending six varied days on the Aegean coast with memories of Kusadasi, Kirazli and Ephesus. Our team is happy to help with any last-minute questions about luggage or timing, and we hope to welcome you back to Turkey for another journey.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized β from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
