My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
4 Days Pamukkale & Turkish Cooking Tour: Hierapolis, Laodicea and Local Dishes (Private Tour)
Highlights of the 4-Day Pamukkale & Turkish Cooking Tour
In the hills of south-western Turkey, warm mineral springs have spent thousands of years painting a hillside white. The result is Pamukkale, the Cotton Castle, a cascade of shallow travertine pools that ranks among the most photographed natural sights in the country. This four-day stay lets you enjoy it without rushing, adds two major ancient cities and finishes with a day in the kitchen, learning regional recipes from a professional Turkish chef. Three nights in a hotel in Pamukkale with breakfast and dinner every evening make the trip easy and relaxed.
The guided sightseeing day begins on the terraces themselves, where your guide explains how calcium-rich thermal water forms the gleaming basins. Above them spreads Hierapolis, the Roman spa city, with its temples, monumental bath complex and the Antique Pool, often called Cleopatra's Pool, where you can bathe in warm water among sunken marble columns. After a lunch break you continue to Laodicea, listed among the Seven Churches of the Book of Revelation, to walk through its theatre, agora and the remains of one of the oldest churches in the region.
Day three is all about flavour. In a hands-on cooking class you prepare dishes such as keskek, a slow-cooked wheat and meat dish, sarma, vine leaves wrapped around a rice filling, and patlican kapama, eggplant braised in its own juices, then sit down to enjoy them for lunch. Free time in Pamukkale or nearby Denizli follows for shopping among textiles, spices and souvenirs. Airport transfers from and to Denizli Cardak Airport, air-conditioned transport, a professional English-speaking guide, three breakfasts, one lunch, three dinners and all listed entrance fees are included.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized β from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
