Highlights of the 14‑Day Turkey Journey

Begin in Istanbul, where you will wander the historic heart of the city, admiring Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque with its dazzling Iznik tiles. The ancient Hippodrome, with its Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column and Column of Constantine, leads you to the bustling Grand Spice Bazaar for a sensory feast of spices, sweets and handcrafted souvenirs.

The adventure continues with a scenic Bosphorus cruise that glides between Europe and Asia, passing Dolmabahçe Palace, the imperial gardens of Yıldız and Çırağan, the historic Rumeli Fortress and the iconic Bosphorus Bridge. Later, a visit to Miniaturk showcases 105 miniature models of Turkey’s most famous monuments, while a stop at Pierre Loti Café offers panoramic views over the Golden Horn.

Beyond Istanbul, the itinerary takes you to the solemn Gallipoli Peninsula, where Anzac Cove, Arıburnu Cemetery and Shrapnel Valley echo the memories of World War I. The legendary city of Troy reveals the famous Trojan Horse, and the lofty Acropolis of Pergamon crowns the ancient landscape. In the Aegean, Ephesus unfolds with Curetes Street, the marble Celsus Library and the grand Roman theatre. Then a full week at an all-inclusive hotel in Kuşadası mixes free beach days with a picnic boat cruise, a day trip to the white terraces of Pamukkale and Hierapolis, and the Adaland aqua park.

With five-star hotels in Istanbul and Kuşadası, guided touring in the first week and plenty of beach time in the second, it is a well-balanced holiday for first-time visitors to Turkey.
