My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
4 Days Aksaray City & Cooking Tour – History, Nature & Culinary Experience (Private Tour)
Highlights of the 4‑Day Aksaray City & Cooking Tour
Begin your journey at Nevşehir Airport and travel to Aksaray, a historic crossroads on the ancient Silk Road. The city’s vibrant streets welcome you before you step into the monumental Sultanhani Caravanserai, a fortress‑like stopover that once sheltered merchants and caravans. Its grand, geometrically patterned portal opens onto a spacious courtyard framed by vaulted rooms and covered halls. A short walk brings you to the impressive Ulu Mosque, where soaring domes and intricate stonework reflect centuries of Ottoman devotion, offering a glimpse into the spiritual heart of the town.
The second day takes you to the dramatic landscape of Hasan Mountain, a 3,000‑meter volcanic peak that dominates the horizon between Aksaray and Niğde. Whether you prefer a gentle nature walk, an adventurous mountain‑bike ride, or simply a panoramic photo stop, the mountain’s rugged slopes provide endless possibilities. Afterward, descend into the breathtaking Ihlara Valley, a 14‑kilometre canyon carved by the Melendiz River. Here, early Christian monks hollowed out rock‑cut churches whose walls still bear vivid frescoes, creating a living museum of faith and art set against towering cliffs and verdant foliage.
The tour’s culinary highlight arrives on the third day with a hands‑on cooking lesson at a local restaurant. Guided by the restaurant’s chef, you’ll prepare a traditional Aksaray lunch featuring signature dishes, salads, and desserts. Sharing the meal with your guide and fellow travelers offers a true taste of Anatolian hospitality before you return to your hotel for a final night in the city.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
