This five-day programme follows the story of the Ottoman Empire from its first foothold to its imperial capital. It starts with an airport pick-up in Istanbul and a three-to-four-hour transfer to Bursa, where you spend the first evening resting, with dinner included and the option of a Turkish bath. Day two is devoted to Söğüt, where the empire was founded in 1299. You visit the Tomb of Ertuğrul Gazi, father of Osman I, the cliff-top Tomb of Shaykh Edebali with its panoramic view, and the 14th-century Orhan Ghazi Mosque, whose minaret stands apart on a rock. Around Bilecik you also see the museum housed in a former courthouse, the hilltop Clock Tower and the pine-fringed Pelitözu Pond, where a pedal boat ride is possible.

The scenic drive lasts three to four hours, allowing you to admire the transition from bustling metropolis to the verdant hills of north‑west Turkey. After checking in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own, enjoy a relaxing Turkish bath, or simply unwind after your journey. Dinner is provided at the hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, the day begins with a drive to Söğüt, the birthplace of the Ottoman Empire. Here you will visit the Tomb of Ertuğrul Gazi, honoring the father of Osman I.
